My jacks are manual hydraulic. There is no air "leveling" system other than the air ride height. It's either in the travel mode or I dump the system when parked.

Exactly right. And it's heavy. Having another pair of hands to hold it up while taking out the bolts is a big help. Then tilt it down and lift it off the bracket.

I also have the '01 Endeavor w/ ISC 330. My Owners Manual says not to pre-fill the fuel filters. When attempting to start, turn key to on position for 30 seconds then off. This will fill the filters....
