The best way is to vaccum them out then with vaccum still running spray bee killer in vac hose. Sometimes I tape a broomstick to the vac hose so I don't have to get too close

I took mine off a few at a time, soaked them in bleach/water soultion, then laid them out to dry and first primed them with spray paint then painted them white with spray paint. They don't mildew...

I've tried a lot of different lubes on the rails, but they all cake up after time. Is there some sort of lube that doesn't harden up after time?
