My start battery and house charge fine while the engine is running. My problem is when plugged into shore power the start batt doesn't charge. Right now, I'm using a trickle charger to keep it up....

Thats right a sprinter chassis but a Winnebago body and hood with a slot too narrow to get the air cleaner out, and yes i've been doing major rv maintenance for 20 years
