I think from the new aire on up the shades are made by automotion. Even if the remote does not solve the problem, it is not wasted as the shades will need to be reset from what the factory set them...

That happened on my KA, but it has been a while. I know you need to clean the big connector on the generator and possibly the silverleaf module in the mid elect compartment. Call Silverleaf also.
