I bought every gauge new old stock for my Spartan from him 400. And he stood behind one which had a problem.

You might buy a gauge to measure turbo boost. ScangaugeD is about $125 and will do it. My C9 will run up to 32 psi on boost pressure. This will tell you how the turbo is doing.

As long as you can get to the nuts, just go ahead and do it. Home faucets should work, might need adapters to make the hoses fit.
Take the faucet to Home Depot or Lowe’s and ask.
