My Dad had a 23 footer with the 5.4 and he loved it. Got great gas milage and had pleanty of power. he put 7500 miles on it on one trip and averaged (so he says) 11.5 mpg.

I'm using Mobil 1 full syn. extended service and changing at 5k. I think if I was towing I would still do 3k. Couple of bucks for peace of mind. scotty.
