My problem was it kept shutting down..sometimes...
My problem was it kept shutting down..sometimes after 15 minutes and sometimes after 2 hours...with no code...then the 2nd day I had several no code shut downs then a couple of times with a code...

This code says in the book that it is an ignition code...My question is this...I had a bad chassis battery...Could this be the cause of the error code...??

Nope it is a German made motor that replaced a replacement on the original motor that both had the gear problems. There is NO external brake on this motor, so it must the magnetic brake as you note....
