I'm sure the Flipping Manual says the genny will eat oxygenated fuel without harm. The point is that the fuel is spoiling in the carb from sitting, none of the seals or components are taking damage....

Keep in mind that RV fridges are also sensitive to level as well. I believe some manuals say +/- 2 degrees. In fact, the biggest killer of an RV absorption fridge is running it when not level.
