You might try some clear coat with UV protection...

You might try some clear coat with UV protection on them. Again, many of the headlamp restoration kits have a clear coating to apply after completion of the cleaning and polishing process.

I used a scratch and swirl remover on mine and it...

I used a scratch and swirl remover on mine and it turned out great. You can also use a headlamp restoration kit on tail lamps as well.
