How did you reach the motor bolts? It looks like the motor mounts on the side you can see but the part that drives the threaded rod is on the other side
I took the sliding carpeted plywood off...

Can some one point me to any information about how to replace the motor on the stair cover? 2006 Diplomat . It is not air or cable . It operates on a motor with a long screw.
I got the cover off...
