Thanks Linda, I was aware that current codes are 4 digits. The reason I mentioned the code as either a 3 or 4 digit is because I'm sure there are tires out there that still have 3 digit codes on...

You will find the date code as either a 3 or 4...

You will find the date code as either a 3 or 4 digit code and in a lot of cases on the back side of the tire. The first two numbers are the week it was made and the last digit or two is the year.
