I know you can pry them open, but why would you want to put oil in a sealed battery. They don't vent gas or weep to cause corrosion. That was the point the industry went to sealed maintenance free...

Haven't seen Group 31, 12 volt starting batteries with removable (serviceable) cell caps in yrs. All have been "Maintenance Free" sealed batteries... jus sayin.
