Sounds like a battery issue. A 12v battery at 12volts is close to dead. Battery fully charged should read 12.6-7 when not under load or input.

For me Garmin and BaseCamp are wonderful tools. I have had some bad routes, just to find out my parameters were set incorrectly, for my rig. With BaseCamp you get to go your route every time.

I've been using BaseCamp and a Garmin for 12 years. Both just work. But, BC is a bit of a challenge at first. I've never seen a need for RVTW.
