Hello all! Great forum. My wife and I just got our first rv, 83 Aluma-lite. 60K, drove it 120 miles home and it runs and drives great. (was smooth cruising at 70 mph until I thought about the gas mileage We will be slowly learning our way around rving and appreciate all the helpful tips and hints. We looked at used older rvs for 6 months before getting this one. It was well cared for and so far all appliances work (and plumbing). Just can't verify operation of water heater (winterized). Sorry so long winded but just wanted to share our excitement and you will see me posting with lots of questions for sure! Thanks again and have a great weekend!

We just bought our first motor home in October, a 1999 Tradewinds diesel pusher, and couldn't be happier.
We have already taken six trips and traveled more than 2,500 miles.
As I type this we are in a state park after spending three days boondocking at our daughter's house over Thanksgiving.
