New to me trailer. Seems very well built and must of spent 20 years in a barn. Anyone know how to find an owners manual?

Beautiful trailer we had a 78' when I was growing up. They don't make them like that anymore

Thank you. I don't know much about it yet but it does seem built well. I just got the chance to snoop around more inside and apparently it's got a central vac system and had a nutone countertop blender setup. The countertop was replaced with a marble countertop and the blender housing, plate, knobs, and pitcher I found in a closet.

Nice find!!! My recollection is that they were built like a tank -- and weighed as much as well. I hope you have a strong tow vehicle

Owner's manuals for that unit probably don't exist. Most, like today were not worth the paper they were prined on if the did. I would go over the trailer with a pad and pencil, collect product names, model and serial numbers and do an internet search. Anything you don't find there, then ask here on iRV2 and possibly here at the Holiday Rambler Club (Holiday Rambler). In '84 there were more independent companies making components then the Dometic/Atwood of today.

Thank you. I pretty much gave up searching for the manual. It's about 5600 #'s or so, not sure if that's heavy or not. Tows great though. Aluminum guts.

Best of luck on it - I recalled after posting above that a friend at work had one and loved it and towed with a 3/4 Ton Chevy with no problem

If it actually weighs near 5600# with the battery, full propane, some water, your essentials and toys, I would be very surprised. If you haven't already purchased new tires, why not take it across a CAT scale ready to travel and then look at tires.

I got 5600# from the kelly blue book spec page for this model. The tires are newer. There's a scale at at the feed mill. Not a bad idea to know. We towed it with a Chevy 2500 about 150 miles from where I bought it, with cruise set at 70mph. Towed great. It's Trailer brakes worked fine. So far the only thing it's missing is a darn hubcap. I'd love to find one to match the others.

If you do weigh it, post what you find, I'm curious. KBB uses shipping weights, not ready to roll with an owner on his way.

Also, with the tires, check the load rating and date of manufacture. Not everyone is aware that you can't go into your local seller and have them 'slap' on a set of automobile tires. Hopefully the PO purchased a decent brand and load rating (LT's at a minimum) and within the last 4-6 years.

I hope you are going to pull wheels, lube bearings and check the brakes.

That Chebbie 3/4 ton is probably a perfect match for that size TT
