1985 Holiday Rambler Imperial 28 Class C?

I am looking at a 1985 Holiday Rambler Imperial 28 Class C with a tandem axle, 460 Ford engine 68K miles and really looks like it has been taken care of through the years. Everything I read is positive. Do any of you have any experience/knowledge of this type of rig? The asking price is $12000.00 but I think that is somewhat negotiable. Any advice will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The price is way too high and the ford will be lucky to get 8 MPG Nearly 15 years old and was probably 30k or less new. Keep looking unless they want to drop to maybe 5-6k

Wow! $5 to $6K? Guess I thought it was worth more! It does have leveling jacks and I do not recall coming across an older Class C that had them. Thanks for your input! If you would like to take a look at it you can find it at Tom Raper RV under the used Class C motorhome section! Thanks again!

I agree with mikeii. Nada guide as I see it is about 5k. The 460 fords were known for manifold issues, and you're starting to get the high end of mileage. If you love it and can get it checked out ok, offer them 6k and walk. Doing a rematch in rvt.com it ebay you can see that you can get a newer coach for similar dough

They must have allowed way too much on a trade in of this rig! Been for sale there since last summer.
