Ignition switch

Hi it's me again, now that I've cleaned out the condensate drains on my roof top units. I'm moving on to replace the ignition switch and the headlight switch on my 02 HR endeavor ignition switch looks like older gm switch with wiring plug right on back/ square key head can't seem to find listing for parts? I was wondering if any one knows where to find these new or do I have to go used.
Thanks for all the help to a newbie!

Bill

I have the same type GM switch in our 2004 HR.. I thought if I ever needed a new one i would go to an auto parts store.. Our Advance Auto parts here has some really smart guys working there.

You should be able to just replace the wiring harness in the back and keep the key cyliner etc.

Here is what fits on mine and it is common to the older Monaco lines.

Ignition switch

Hi, the wiring seems to be fine the key and whole cyl seem very loose inside and I believe the contacts are not makeing a good connection inside of cyl.

Mid 70's Chevy P/U.
The trick to remove, the lock portion, is to have a thin wire to put into the little hole beside the key .

Disconnect the batteries ( Chassis ) because when the lock comes out the ignition switch is in the on position.
