It’s not an app. It’s a web site.

In as much as it comes with an annual cost of $39.00 I thought it best to call in reinforcements. By they way, you are the reinforcements!
Do you use it? And if so is it easy to use, up to date and gives good and correct information? It apparently is not a GPS which surprises me a little because you'd think with all the information it shows that it would be!
What say you reinforcements? And remember its $39.00 and I'll have to flip some burgers to make that happen. Either that or get into my wife's purse. Nope, thats just too terrifying to think what I could find in there?

I love it and I've used a lot of route planning programs and systems for many years..
I dump my entire trip into my Garmin.
You can also d/l to an Excel spreadsheet and print it out.
It has recently had an upgrade, then another upgrade whereby RV Reviews is integrated with it.
I believe it is under very active development and improvement.

Used it to help plan all trips. I simply think it’s the best RV planning software out there. Great customer service, price is right $39.

The other thing I really like about them is they are constantly upgrading and updating their sight. Offering more stuff for the same money and that’s great for users.

WyoFree - Thank you for your post. Yes, we are constantly improving RV Trip Wizard. Therefore, our hope is that people will view it as you do -- As time goes on you're getting more and more value out of your subscription making RV Trip Wizard cost less over time. We've made significant enhancements to the site and we're really excited about what we have on the drawing board. We appreciate your support.

I just signed up 2 days ago and have added my 1st 2 trips. Those went pretty well. I did have some trouble with getting zoom to work as I expected (too sensitive) and a couple of other things but overall I think it is going to become invaluable for planning long trips.
Do you think you could share a few of the enhancements being planned? Or is that top secret stuff?
Thanks,

I assume you are aware that the data for RV parks in RV Trip Wizard is now directly off of the RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks website. This change was made ~10 days ago.
Previously, the RV park database used in Wizard was not linked to RVPR and, therefore, some park reviews weren't completely current.

RV Trip Wizzard
I have used RV Trip Wizzard for two years. I use it primarily to see distances and routes. I put my beginning point and my "ending" point in first. I can then plan campground and/or sightseeing point in between based on how fast I drive and how many hours per day I'm willing to put in. With the new campground data links, you'll have a hard time "deciding" which campground to use.@

I too use RVTW. Its the first and sometimes the only planning tool I use. The developers have done a great job of making this program user friendly and useful.
One suggestion: Work with Garmin to make a more seemless transfer of routes created in RVTW to a Garmin GPS. RVTW by itself does not guide you to your destination, so in order to make it more functionable it needs to transfer routes in a more seemless way. Better yet, make a cell phone app that works with trip wizard that one can navigate with.
You've got a great product, just take the next step and let us use it to navigate with in real time. I think you'd attract more people especially those who think what good is it if I can't navigate with it while driving.

Another suggestion: Perhaps work with Garmin to replace their BaseCamp program. BaseCamp is a great program but has a steep leaning curve. RVTW does even more and is much easier to learn and use.
As an example Active Captain is a boating program that gain popularity amoung boaters because it displayed hazards and crowd sourced reviews of marina's. It became so popular (I don't know anyone who is a serious cruiser who doesn't use it) that Garmin incorporated it's functions into its marine GPS units.

I suggested to you folks about possible adding Car Rental search abilities ie. Enterprise.... any update on that ability? IMHO, RV Trip Wizard is a must have trip planner program.

We do appreciate everyone's suggestions and we are working off a roadmap to bring future enhancements to you the RVer. We prioritize the enhancements based upon the value it will bring to the RVer, the number of RVers asking for the enhancements, and the complexity in delivering the enhancement.
We have some awesome enhancements that we're actively developing and know you will love it. In addition, there are some other enhancements that you will barely notice (if at all), but need to happen in order to support other visible enhancements. We have a small team of people working really hard to make RVTW better for you and we really appreciate your support, suggestions, and feedback.
We also typically don't want to pre-announce enhancements because they could get caught up in development issues, or we could have other enhancements that become priority. Typically we release enhancements every couple weeks. We also try to announce Whats New in the "Whats New" feature. You can see when there is a new announcement by seeing the "Red indicator" over the Trip Preferences gear icon.

That’s all very understandable. Maybe in the interim you could provide us with a “FreeLunch”!
