Hello,
I am trying to put a filter water faucet in the sink and I am trying to find out the size of the water hose to tap off of. The plastic hose has a 5/8 OD going into copper (short line) into the faucet, looks like copper maybe 1/4" . The line for the water filter is 1/4 OD. I will need a T fitting but what size for the plastic line... Any info would be great Thanks Mark

Hello and We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy our website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
The water line should be 1/2" Pex. You could get a push on type fitting that will have a 1/4" female pipe threaded Tee that the water filter line can connect to at home improvement stores.
