Rexhall Specs

I'm looking to find specs and floorplans for Rexhall MHs. Is there a site I can go to find out details? I found one for sale but he doesn't know the model number. It's a 35'? with a Cummins 5.9 and no slide or tag axle. I can't go look at it for a while so I am trying to get info in general.

Is that too small an engine for the size and weight? What size tires are on it?
Any help would be appreciated. David

Year?

Do you have a year set? I have this one from the FB Group I follow and I know it fits my 99 Aerbus and a couple other years before they did a major body swap. Hope this helps a little.

I found out it's a 1994 XL3500 with a Cummins 5.9 and 150k miles on it.

Where does the Aerbus fit in the Rexhall lineup? How many different floor plans are there? As for diesels is the Cummins 5.9 the only option or did they use the 8.3 as well? I can't find out a great deal about them on the web. Overall are they considered a good quality unit or...?
Thanks in advance David

Rexhall models

I am sorry but I do not have an answer for how many floor plans. I know about the Aerbus and Roseair but that’s about as far as my brain remembers. I do believe there are a few others. The Aerbus was one of the main model names they used (someone please correct me if I’m wrong).

I’ve seen some DP’s on RVTrader but none caught my eye as to what you were describing as most of them were newer. Sorry I wasn’t able to help more.

Yes, quality is excellent! As we were renovating ours we could see the workmanship and quality they put into their work. Very impressed and happy with our rig and Rexhall

So far I have come across Aerbus, Rexair, Roseair, American Clipper and Vision. Not sure if that is top to bottom or bottom to top or what. I sure hope the owner of this one has the manuals and info. He has owned it for 11 years and is an older gentlemen. I hope to go see it in the next week or so depending on the weather and how much snow is around it.

New Owner

Today I bought the Aerbus. It's sitting in storage and will stay there for a while, at least until it gets a bit warmer. I'm going back to it with the previous owner on Sunday to go over a few things. I got a binder full of papers, including a factory sales brochure. Someone has written on it $80k gas and $120k diesel. It comes with everything in it. He isn't going to be RVing anymore so he left me everything, from fishing rod to dishes... It was bought new in Texas, then in Minnesota, for 2 owners and has been in Alberta since 2008.

I have owned 2 travel trailers and a truck camper but this is my first MH. I know there will be some adjusts needed. Neither one of our vehicles are good for a Toad so we will go without one this year and see what happens. I'll get used to it as it is first. I'm used to a 400 HP truck towing my 28 TT so this will be different. If it doesn't have enough power I know how to fix that

Hey Shadrach, just wondering if things up your way have warmed up and you've been able to do anything with the new MH? We're still buried down here in Spokane so it'll be awhile for us too.

It has warmed up and the snow is melting. The temp is in the high 40s F to low 50s for the last week or so and should be warm all this week as week, so the snow is melting. I did go out to see it last Sunday and shoveled snow away from it so I could open the cargo doors and snoop to see what all I bought. It will still be a while yet as the ground is still frozen so no where for all the melting snow to go. Soon

I know some of you will think these temps are COLD but when the sun is shining and there is no wind even 30F can be warm.

David

ok....yesterday 81F, day before was 85F and today was chilly at 71F....tomorrow here an hour north of Santa Barbara, CA we might freeze to death at just 66F. That assumes I don't die of exposure when it drops to 46F tonight! Man i wish i had my new Mr. Heater 20k BTU backup furnace!

burrrrrr, cold. [emoji33]
