Red face Electrical outlet problem in a 2006 HR Endeavor

I have a 2006 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 40 Ft. DP. I have had very few problems with this unit, however, I find myself with a problem I haven't been able to solve.

When hooked up to 50 amp service none of the outlets in the kitchen or living room have power to them. I can disconnect the 50 amp service and start the generator and everything works. I have checked all switches and fuses, everything appears to be OK. I would appreciate any help if anyone has seen this problem before or ideas I can use to diagnose the problem

If you have an inverter, look at the base for 1 or 2 circuit breakers. Make sure they have not tripped.

Also check your hookup box extension cord. You could have a bad cord.

If those circuits are powered through an inverter, I agree, check the breakers on the inverter. I also suggest you try front and rear Air Conditioners to be sure both legs of the 50 amp service are working. If one isn't powered, some circuits in the RV would work, others wouldn't, but both working on generator points to problem with the shore cord or pedestal.

Your symptoms of line not working and generator ok indicate a problem with the transfer switch which is located in the compartment with your line cord. With all power off remove the transfer switch cover and check that the wires are tightly connected and or not burned.
