Slide Creeping Out When Unit Stored

The bedroom slide on my 2007 Holiday Rambler Imperial creeps out about 4 inches when I have the unit parked with the slides in. It can sit there for several days and all is good and then all of a sudden I notice the slide has crept out. It doesn't happen all the time but happens randomly from time to time. Anyone run into this?

How is the slide moved, hydraulic or electric? If it is hyd, air in the system could be the culprit. If it's electric, perhaps a momentary short somewhere in the wiring (rodent could be the culprit)

I had a similar problem with y rear slide and it ended up being a bad solenoid. I have hydraulic slides.

If you aren't loosing any hydraulic fluid I'd suspect one of the pump mounted solenoids or the slide's hydraulic rams.

We had HWH slides on a Itasca coach several years ago. They would do the same thing, even if you were on the road for several hours. I think it has to do with fluid seeping past the O rings in one of the solenoids. Suggest you loosen each of them and then re-tighten
