We have a 2008 Newmar Cypress (Diamond Package). I can't get the furnace to fire up. I can hear the igniter trying to ignite and faintly smell gas coming from the outside vent but it never lights. I turned on the gas stove, thinking it may be the regulator but it lit just fine and had a consistent flame (blue). The gas side of the hot water heater will not ignite as well. Could it still be the regulator?
We like to start our camping in early April but there is still a chance of water freezing. Without the furnace working and warming the compartments and undercarriage, I'm afraid of water lines freezing.
It looks like it is located in a really tight spot to get to. I wanted to check the ceramic on the igniter to insure they were not cracked but it's a tight squeeze for my big body! Any ideas?

Welcome to the Newmar forum.
Help in getting around irv2.
The igniter may need some cleaning with a soft cloth or if rust cleaning of igniter for clean ground connections. The tube may have a spider web in it that needs to be cleaned out or mud dabbers.
This link has WH & FURNACE INFO. More info in this link for other appliances.
