That 50amp will work, just have someone make you the correct converter cable. It has a neutral and will give you just 120v if you wire it correctly.

If they are using temp power boxes stay away from the 3P 4W 50A they could be 3 phase like this: Yes there are 3P 4W 50A RV outlets but they are the typical style found at campgrounds. I've seen a person hook into the wrong type and blow out half the appliances in the RV.

While it is possible they would be running 3-phase it is unlikely.

It is suppling power from box to box. Each box is powering 120v lighting, 120v AC window units and 220v heaters.

Dragging up an old post as I have made some changes and instead of starting a new topic, I hoped we would capture it all here.

I now have a 50 amp RV with a detachable cord. The RV has the 50 amp locking receptacle on it. I have a cord that goes from 50 amp locking to "standard" 14-50 plug on it. I am looking for a way to go from the 3P-4W outlet of the spider box to a 14-50F or if I needed to I would even buy a ~50' cable going from 3P-4W to the 50 amp twist lock.
