Jayco/Open range by highland ridge warranty issues

I am looking for people that are having issues with Jayco/Open range by highland ridge with warranty work. Specifically getting them to repair or replace the unit in a timely manner. I have started a facebook group for you to share your story. The more "noise" we make the more likely we will get results.

This is not like taking your F-150 to the Ford dealer, who has a well stocked parts department and a modern repair facility with all the latest diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as a squad of factory-trained techs. Warranty items are fixed promptly and without question.

With RVs it is just the opposite. Slow service on warranty items is a time honored tradition with ALL RV manufacturers and dealers. Everything has to be pre-approved by someone at the factory. Parts are often not on hand at the dealer, and sometimes not at the factory. Sometimes they just tell you it's not a warranty issue, and decline to do anything about it.

Good luck.

Sorry you are having problems. We had a Highland Ridge Open Range travel trailer prior to our current motorhome. The trailer was well built and had great features considering it's price point. We had two minor warranty issues. Both were quickly resolved by our dealer and Highland Ridge. Kind of wishing we had it back.

We own a 323roamer travel trailer we have not had any issues except normal minor problems this is our 2nd highland ridge But I’m very anal when it comes to maintenance and always keep camper covered we’ve done a lot of adding But we probably would not buy a new camper seems everything we look at is made cheaper and cost more we have found to make your camper what you want you’ll be happy

Yep trailer repair is not like taking your vehicle into the dealership.

Just got our new 2019 Jay flight out of the dealership for warranty work.
It was in there for almost 4 weeks which was partially my fault because I said we had no trip plans when asked!

One of the items that needed to be fixed was the bathroom fan when I got the trailer back the work order stated it was repaired guess what they did not even touch it.
Going to fix it myself.
