Another option you could consider when you drive into Key West Fl would be to call a Church near where you would like to be and offer a donation for their courtesy in allowing you to park there for the day.

I was in Key West a year ago for a few days. Even with a rental car, we rarely drove. I wasn't in the RV, so I can't help you there. I just think most people get around the island with Uber or the little trolley bus thing. Parking was a nightmare, so we did all we could to avoid it.
