We have owned our 2006 38 PDQ Ambassador for 3 years. It has the 330HP, 8.3L ISC Cummins. We are in the midst of our annual escape from the heat and humidity of Ft Myers, Fl and are currently in Moab, Utah, 3543 miles covered so far.

We are very pleased with the quality, performance and handling of our Ambassador. So far, we are averaging 7.82 hand calculated MPG towing our Chevy Malibu. We travel at 60-62 MPH as everyday is Saturday to us. Also, we could be doing 75 MPH and everyone will still pass you, so, the hell with it, 60-62 is fine.

I cannot comment on new Ambassadors but 2006 was a great build year. Hope this helps.

We have the Monaco version of the 36pft. It has to be the best 36' floorplan ever. Really like it.
I'm at just over 18,000 miles with no problems with the MaxxForce 10 engine. I have averaged 9.4mpg on flat ground at 60mph towing 5000 lb Jeep GC.

Hi, I am also interested in the 2007 H. R. Ambassador 40DFT 330ICS. I am in negotiation to purchase one and it looks great, just wondering what your experience has been and any quirks, or issues to watch out for. This coach appears to have been very well maintained and garaged so looks nearly like new with only few little blemishes.

We purchased my 2006 Holiday Rambler Ambassador 38PDQ in 2010. We put 20000 miles on it since 2010 and it has been the best Coach that I have owned. Knock on Wood. I previously owned a Coachmen Diesel pusher and the Ambassador has it beat hands down. The 330 Cummins is hard to beat and the RoadMaster chassis produces a smooth ride. Just make sure it hasnt been abused and you cant go wrong.

I have the 2013 Navistar 40' Ambassador. Attended the Hershey show last week. The 2015 Ambassador has the mid entry door, the only thing I liked about it. It is a stripped down, below, entry into the market in my opinion. There is so much that is not there as compared to my Ambassador, too many to list. I love mine, but if ever to sell, I would have to list it as a Navistar/Holiday Rambler 2013 Ambassador.

I have a 2006 Holiday Rambler, Ambassador PLQ 40' 10" and saw the 2015 at the Redmond, OR FMCA reunion. I was hoping to buy one and was shocked of how it was downgraded. So I'm keeping the one I got and starting upgrading it instead.

So far I replace two TV's, front smart 40" rear smart 32'. When the fridge goes out I will replace with residential one. Maybe extended service plan will help pay for it.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on the 2007 40DFT. We took your advice, purchased it and we are already planning for its maiden voyage (for us anyway) to points south, hopefully before real winter sets in here in Alberta, Canada. We hope our paths may cross and swap more stories somewhere down the road. Safe travels to all of you.

We just bought a 2012 Ambassador 36PTF. Any suggestions on adding storage space(s) for the Water and Sewer Hoses?

I'm looking at finding a way to hang them in the back on the left and right of the engine.

Wish I had the 330 cummins. My 40' ambassador came with a 300 Cat.

The imperial was second in line behind the navigator in the HR line up. It was a wonderful motorhome with a lot of options and very well built. I had an 97 Imperial on the mountain master spartan chassis. Just wish it had the M11 Cummins instead of the 8.3l cummins. I might still have it.
