We have a 2004 39W Journey ... the right turn signal on my toad quit working over the weekend. There was no signal at the 7 pin connector. So I knew the loss of power was ahead of that.

There have been two threads on this bulletin board that were extremely helpful in finding the fuses.

Vicsyrd thread

Rvarner Thread

By reading and re-reading those threads I was able to locate and replace the blown fuse.

While I had things torn apart I took some pictures ... I hope these pictures will help the next person that needs to replace trailer connection fuses ...

The cover to the fuse box snaps open and swings up then lifts off

I chose to unplug two cables to make it easier to access the fuse box ...

Here is a close up of the fuses

SKIGRAMP, Thanks for the pictures. We had the same problem as you with the taillights, the only difference was that we took it to the Freightliner dealer to have them fix it. It cost us $185 on a unit three months old. Wish we had the pictures then. Indiana Journey

SkiGramp - thanks from me too! I've known the fuses were there from the threads here, but never went to the trouble to remove the panel and see exactly what's there. Now, thanks to you, I don't have to. I can just look at your pix that I've saved in my Journey file. Thanks to Ernie too...

Tom ...

You were the one to tell me about the little [reset] button on my radio a couple of years ago ... so I am just returning the favor ...

The advice from the threads about turning on the flashers and following the sound is good ...

The bottom picture was helpful even to me ... because I could not read the printing above the fuses ... but my trusty little digital camera (set on close-up) did the trick ... made my job easy ...
