Description: First CG coming off the Top of the World (from US/Canadian border)highway and into Chicken. Gravel-dirt pit of Chicken with some dry pull throughs in the back. 20 & 30 amp service w/no water/sewer. Power is generated by generator and is plaged with low voltage so count on using your own if ya got it. There is no phone service as well, but does have an ATM in the office for those low on American dollars. Hey, it's the last frontier folks and don't bother bring any 'high expectations' into Chicken...you'll be disappointed. But if you can't quite make it into Tok, a stop in Chicken is a must do if ya never been there. It's a funky little town with some fun people and a quirky atmosphere...at least get a pic of you and your 'favorite' in front of the big egg that says; "I got laid in Chicken". Kind of sums it up for the atmosphere, I'd say. Wait, just found their website...and it's a Passport America CG...darn!

Pros:
Cons: They no longer honor Passport America discounts

We were there the second week of Sep 2012 and the owner said he was dropping Passport American affiliation. Amber from PA confirmed he has dropped his membership. We had no problems with power. Us being the only RV in the campground might have had something to do with that! They were rolling up the sidewalks and getting out of town the morning we left for Dawson City.
