Description: We just happened to stumble on this campground the other day when travelling through the area. It is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in lately, is very clean, nice facilities, friendly staff, has free WIFI as well as a computer provided in a clean room with 24 hour access, a nice clean pool with hot tub - and best of all, is very reasonably priced.

I would certainly recommend that you consider staying here the next time you are in the area - I know we will be back.

Pros: Price, Passport America Park, Pool, Activity areas
Cons: Mud, WIFI not available at all sites

This review is based on a 1 night stay in June of 2007. Details of the CG can be found on page 597 of the 2007 T/L Directory. The CG has quite a few different activity areas. It is neat, clean and well maintained. The upper level of the CG has the nice sites. These sites have gravel and no mud. The site I was given was at the lower end of the CG. The gravel was long gone and the site was mud. There was 50 AMP full hookups at the site. WIFI did not reach to this site. Retail price was $32/night. I paid $16. as a Passport America member. This CG is a good value. It lacks organized activities for children, but the facilities are there for kids to have a good time. I would stay here again, if I could get a site on the upper level, out of the mud.

Pros: New owners many improvements!
Cons: Nothing

This park is excellent! We have been going there for 5 years but this year there is a new owner and you can immediately tell when driving in. There has been new gravel put down, upgraded community room, new landscaping, etc., etc! The Wifi is better than ever and works at every site!

Pros: Well kept, Friendly staff, Clean
Cons:

Very nice campground. We stayed there last month for a few days and were very pleased. In fact we are heading back for a few day's tomorrow. The lots are gravel and they are fairly level. The pool and community areas we clean and well maintained. We travel with 3 dogs and the park has a fenced dog area that was clean and had well maintained grass. Our dogs had a great time playing off the leash. The dog area also had a sprinkler system to help keep the grass growing. WiFi worked great. The park is just off I-75.

Pros: Very nice meeting area, easy entry and friendly, helpful staff
Cons:

We found this through a friend who lives in Georgia and has stayed there. Recently remodeled and updated gathering room/lounge. Big screen TV with leather furniture for relaxation for everyone to use.

Pros: Clean, well kept, easy access,
Cons: no cable

Great find ! Campground is clean and well kept. Good size pull thru sites as well as back in ones. There are a large number of long term sites but they are very well kept up.
They are also a Passport America and will let you use it for two days.
Will stay here next time we are in the area.

Pros: Clean, helpful staff, pool, quiet setting, Passport America - 2 nites
Cons: no cable but able to pick up over air

Easy access off I-75. Will stay here again. We had planned on staying at Warner AFB but after finding this we won't go to the famcamp again. Much better setting, easier to get to & nice sites. Staff helpful with directions & recommendations for restaurants & sites to see. Some permanents but all are tidy. Nice park for a walk, a swim & other activities - horseshoes & other games.

Pros: Clean, level sites, convenient to I-75
Cons: Traffic noise, weak a WiFi, no cable

Twin Oaks RV Park, Elko (Perry) GA
A nice, clean and well maintained park. New owners seem to be making improvements including 2 new bath houses with instant hot water - never run out. Seasonal pool, large hot tub, community room, living room with big screen satellite TV, comfy sofas, Large selection of books and games, and two dining-type tables to play on. Laundry was clean and is open 24/7 ($2.00 per load). There is also a clubhouse with full kitchen and grill. There are 2 horseshoe pits and corn hole set. There are 64 FHU sites, most with 50amp. 35 are pull-thru, the back-ins are more shady and have woods behind them. The sites are large enough, and have picnic tables (some with shade umbrellas), on concrete or paver patio pads. There are grass strips in front and behind the patios. Sites either have a fire ring, or they will provide one. Our site was level and long enough for our rig and toad. The sites and interior roads are gravel/dirt and in good condition. They do not have cable, but got OTA stations from Macon. They have WiFi, and quite a few connections, but the WiFi was pretty much useless - so slow! The other negative is that since it is so close to I-75, there is a lot of traffic noise. We still slept well with windows closed and fan on in RV. We will definitely stay there again!
