Description: This campground, located in the western suburbs of Chicago, is primarily a seasonal campground.

All the sites are grass, many with very good shade. Full hookup, water/electric, and primitive sites are available

We pulled in on a Friday afternoon after a morning rainstorm, asked for a full-hookup site and were told "Just go pick any open site." Ended up stuck and needed a tractor to pull us out. They then decided those sites were all too wet, and put us in a water/electric only site on higher/dryer ground (we agreed, because we were 400 miles from home and no known nearby place to park).

When leaving two days later, maneuvering to the dump station was a bit challenging with our rig (36-foot 5th-wheel).

Recommended only as a last resort.

Pros: none
Cons: lots

I think the campground it no longer there. If it is, Don't go!!!!!!!! Find a Walmart or any other safe place. We know first hand about safety there. JUST don't use the CG!!!
