You kind of don't expect much when you first enter the park due to the surroundings it sits in when you first drive up to the office.. Then you drive up this little hill to a new world and it's as if you just left the hustle bustle city and was dropped in the middle of the country side. They have more camping cabins than RV sites and the cabins are really nice and clean.
This is a well maintained campground and the bathrooms and showers are kept spotless . The swimming pool is a very nice plus and it too is kept very clean.
It is a small park for RV campers in number of sites and the sites are short in length. I would not stay here in anything longer than 35ft.
The sites have good room side to side and fire pits are nice and well kept. They are paved back in site with a nice cement patio and well maintained picnic tables.
Your as close as you an get to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and not be in it. This park sits at the very end of the main Parkway of Pigeon Forge.
Easy access in and out of the park to see the Smokies or the rides and attractions.
Over all the ratings given this park are well deserved .
We stayed at Foot Hills RV and Cabins in a 28ft travel trailer.
