Description: On the near north side of Sycamore, IL which is about 75 miles west of Chicago. Small, friendly town with some great restaurants within walking distance of the RV park.
The park is a family operation that keeps getting a little larger and a little better every year. sites are situated between two nice sized fishing/swimming lakes. Some sites are heavily treed while others are in a large open area south of the first lake with large sites and full hookups. Nice and quiet at night and far enough off the main road north out of Sycamore to prevent any highway noise. There is a nice waking/jogging trail around both lakes that must be at least a mile in length.
Easy to miss the park turn-in, but remember to turn right onto North St which comes just after the large grain silos on the east side of Rt.23 and before you reach the Marathon station on the west side of the street.
Sycamore has a very nice 18 hole public golf course, beautiful old homes, and nearby shopping of all varieties.

Pros: Beautiful and well kept lake
Cons: maybe a bit expensive

I am at this campground now. I'm parked by the lake and it's a great spot. I would return.
