Took a small section of the trim off today so that I could take it home to measure it. I have figured I think what I need...

Also bought a 6 ft fiberglass ladder today on Craigs List...$25 and its perfect...now under the motorhome in one of the pass thru compartments..

The off to the local Ace Hardware store for a black Friday weekend sale..got a Craftsman Tool box for half price...will keep flares, support materials I might need if I have any problems along the road...
