Went Full Time May 1st 2022

The 4 of us (my husband, our dog, cat and myself) moved into our beautiful 1994 Newmar Kountry Aire and set out on a new adventure and a new chapter in our lives. We decided to start at a State Park with hook ups while we get our rv legs under us. Our future intent is to mostly boondock but we still have a lot to learn about Glory and some work to do on her before she and we are ready to go full boodock.
Our first month and a half has been full of interesting experiences from finding every single valve open in the basement area the first time we went to fill the fresh water tank - at the first campground and discovering the icemaker wasn't connected and flooded the living room to discovering the previous owners put her in storage five years ago without fully cleaning out the black tank and leaving us a petrified log jam...that we just got cleared last week. The log jam also seemed to cause some seepage in the bathroom that has finally been allowed to dry up since the jam is clear.
We are living in our RV with the slide in, and thankfully we can do that, because the leveling jacks don't work and just found out it might be possible that we can put it out without the jacks now that I was finally able to get a manual. I'm waiting to hear back from Newmar on that one. But that doesn't change the fact that we need to fix the leveling jacks.
The A/C units don't work and need a complete servicing as we head into wonderful NV summer heat. Could be worse though, we could be in Southern NV.
The long term plan is to get set up with solar so we can boondock more easily. The short term plan, for this year at least is to explore our beautiful state. I've been in NV all my life and my husband most of his, both of us born and raised here. All these years and we've barely scratched the surface of our state so we have set out to explore starting with the State Parks.
Purchasing annual park passes for both vehicles is saving us a whole bunch of $$. For the time being we can't go too far from our home base of Carson City due to some obligations, but eventually we will be untethered and can explore more. The current plan is to stay at as many of the state parks in the N/NW areas during summer and fall then head to southern nv state parks for the winter.
My husband is fully retired and I run a business online and am looking for other online income opportunities to help off set repair expenses and help save for those emergency repairs we know always come up when least expected.
