A vaca? No way. ...well maybe.

I need a vacation. The stress of everyday life and two jobs I need it desperately. I just can't afford it. Maybe a long weekend. Obviously I wanna road trip in my RV (haven't named her yet). I don't want to go real far, but go spend time where I hope to spend the rest of my days. It's about 5-6 hours north, pretty straight shot after San Francisco Golden gate bridge. I know it's going to be a long while before I can relocate, if it ever happens, but just being away where I love so much would do me good. Any suggestions for a novice RV driver?
