Well it has been a long road with many, many setbacks along the way. We were not ready to give up on RVing, our dealership or our dream.

The new Fleetwood Discovery 40g was/is so amazing.

We left on Friday night for Rockport TX, about a 4.5 hour drive from our house.

We did do the one thing that we were told not to do, I never meant to or wanted to do and would NEVER recommend someone do in a new coach, arrive at a new campsite in a new class A at...

I am warned to winterize before it gets cold, and have some indoor storage lined up, yet it is about that time of year, and the cold is coming! If it were ready for camping, I would be gone for warmer weather!



Still replacing things like smoke detectors, and trying to understand the systems.. Steep learning curve for someone so ignorant!

Well, its that time;
We have had it home for a week and packed it all up. We want to head out but as many of you know Texas is flooding. Anywhere its not raining, it is about to or has just stopped.

So we decide to spend the first night in the new coach in our driveway. Very short notice, no planning just lets watch a movie in it to lets spend the night here.

Just Returned From Fla. There was a path of about 85 miles wide left by this Hurricane The News I don't think is reporting it all, and we probably want know Just how bad it was there. Just out side of Tallahassee, No Power for the whole time we were there had Generators for running Pump and Taking care of Farm animals, Hot But Dry thank goodness. We have had it home for a week. It has been pouring rain but I have managed to get an amazing amount of stuff loaded. We still have all our personal stuff, bedding, clothes, books, food etc... to load but we are closing in on it.

I cant wait for this weekend. Even if we dont leave in it we will stay in the driveway since we have a 50AMP plug in our driveway we can staycation here.

Not sure if everyone is fully aware of the flooding in central Texas is right now but,...

Well Thursday started like any other day. About 3 i get an email that it has been delayed for Friday.

Apparently there was a simple recall on the Fleetwoods about a power steering hose. Ancira RV sent the coach to Freightliner SA to have this addressed. On route a check engine light came on. Holy CR$P Batman, another check engine light. ...

Ancira RV will take the 2015 Thor Palazzo 33.3 back and get us out of it 100% like it never happened.

They are getting us into a 2014 Fleetwood Discovery 40G. The 2014, 40G has 1600 miles all new tires, new batteries and the normal make ready that this dealership does.

Like I have stressed from the beginning of this tale, we were never "pissed or even upset" at the dealership, they have done everything they could have done and done it right. We were never...

Update: Pantry Storage -- 10/3/18



Storage space in the NewAire comes at a premium, both outside and in. One of the first inside projects we did was to add a Pull Out Pantry to the narrow cabinet located next to the control panel above the fridge. The wood pantry shelves first had to be shortened by 1.5", and we replaced the drawer slides with a 20" set to fit the reduced cabinet depth....

Well, it looks we have all agreed to the new deal.

Not sure how many of you have ever sold a coach. But I can tell you one thing for certain for those who have not. You will need more boxes than you think. For a coach we had in our possession for only a few days total we sure packed it full of stuff.
