I keep seeing posts about mice and the trouble of getting them 'gone'. Some 'getting' (capture) of the mice come up with all kinds of ways to 'gettem gone'.
Peanut butter on 'snap traps', sometimes with bacon grease to bacon bits added to help lure them in works, others claim no dice or mice. Some have added cotton balls to the traps to help tangle them up... Others try different methods altogether, the electronic silent noice type, live traps, sticky traps, the list is...

Today I made time to adjust the WDH hitch for the F150. I hooked up the TT without the arms attacked and took it to a nearby gas station that was as level as I could find living in the foot hills of ABQ's east mountains. Unhitched I measured the front and rear fender flares of the F150 (37" and 38" respectively) and then leveled the tongue of the TT. Happy days the WDH ball was just the right height even though it had been set for the 4Runner I had just traded in. Sometimes you just...

Well today we was running off the generator an without thinking I touched metal on the frig an didn't get a jolt so I'm guessing it was the AC outlet that was causing the jolts

Please read this entire post. Jeff Andrews at Purcell Tire and Service Center in Reno, NY is an honest mechanic!!!!! I recommend Jeff for RV chassis and toad vehicle repairs. I have a 2003 Holiday Ramble Admiral SE 34’ gas W22. In August 2017, in Reno, NV, I thought that I had a leaking rear caliper on the right rear wheel at the end of a six week family vacation. We pulled into Reno, NV in search of parts and a reasonably price mechanic. I purchased the parts at O’Reily Auto parts and searched...

We are in the 5th hottest heatwave in Montana on record. We haven't had a slight break since late June. From the evening of July 5th we 'called it quits' and 'bugged out', we've been living full time in our 20FQ since it has a/c and the sticks doesn't.
Trust me when the neighbors are talking about us 'camping in the driveway' (boon docking basically) and haven't realized we are so much cooler this way. LOL. Most homes in MT don't have AC, but things haven't 'connected' for some...

Back to Lake Havasu City with no real problems except need to do laundry again. It has cooled off a little and I’m getting stir crazy so I need something to do.
Tape up a hanging wire here, replace a bulb there, rearrange a closet, wash the windshield again, and I’m staying occupied. Each day we go to SIL and play one or two rounds or cards, 5 Crowns. If you have not played it then it should be on your list to try. Interesting and allows friends to talk in between plays. ...

We’ve been in or at least near Phoenix before with the TT and not had any problems. This time we are going across Phoenix, west to east, to get to Lost Dutchman State Park. If it is anything like Cattail Cove north of Parker then it will be great.
Traffic was light, in my opinion, park was easy to find, and after a little mix up with the reservation, driving the wrong way on a one way road, confrontation with the ranger, we get settled into a nice U shaped turnout that is...

Once again, the June Bug is getting ready for a trip. We have had a three year gap, with home renovation and surgery issues, so are taking a short trip this year to get back in the swing of things. We are getting the maintenance issues done, and soon will be heading for Missouri to watch the solar eclipse, and see some other sights as well. Maybe we will see you along the way!

We never planned on being in Arizona in the Summer let along being in Lake Havasu City during July.
DW’s sister is having difficult time breathing due to health problems and it was thought we needed to go now to see her for ourselves the condition. Also to see her at her best and not just when she is really getting to the point she can’t get around.
Deciding on a Thursday and leaving on Friday morning was the easiest decision as I had already plotted out a...
