Tonight's lesson is on batteries

Posted 03-05-2013 at 10:36 PM by SueK

I arrived home this evening to hear the CO2 alarm screaming from inside "Ernie" who is parked out front awaiting random moments of attention from me. This is not what I had planned this evening.

It appears something was on that drained the life out of my battery because as soon as I turned the engine on it went off. A few seconds after turning the engine off it went back on. A few Google strokes & it's my battery. This battery is not even 2 wks old.... why on earth is it empty? I left the cabin battery on which is a no no. I'm hoping a 1/2 hr of running the engine will keep her quiet over night. We've got a storm coming thru & it's not the night to run electrical cords. Besides I don't know if I can charge it that way. I've got some reading to do before bed... so enough whining about it here. I better get crackin'!
