This was a surprise

Today I stumbled onto this part of IRV2. I didn't even know that I had a blog. I've never kept a diary or any kind of travel book so this will be something new. Since Carol and I are both still working we don't get to spend as much time in the motorhome as we would like, but I think I'll try posting here when we do get some time.
Next week end we will be camping at Charlie Brown Campground in Eastford CT. Our first time there was 2 weeks ago. Nice wide open, flat campground with large sites. They have several pavillions that are designed to allow campers to be backed up to them so that groups can share the facility. Each pavillion has a large metal fire pit in the center and has electric lights and outlets. The Natchaug river forms one boundary of the campground. It is stocke by the state with trout. There are fish there, but there are so many people trying to catch them that your odds are greatly deminished. There are no pull thrus and there are no sewer sites. Neither of these limitations were a problem for us. Most sites have a gray water connection, making it easier to stay on site longer. They have 2 dump stations on the exit road that are easy in and out. Overall after only one visit, we think it is a very good place to camp and it would make a nice spot for a rally.
Next week end we will be taking Carol's Mom with us. She is 88 years old and not a camper. I hope to make sure she has a good time since she has been great to me since Carol and I first met in 1971. If I remember I will post comments after next week end.
