Most forum members who tow a late model Jeep are aware of the infamous "Wabble Problem" that was introduced on Jeep models since around 2012 with the conversion to Electronic Power Steering (EPS). It was mostly the Cherokees (KL models) that exhibited the problem, and there was a fix introduced in the 2020 model year that generally resolved that problem by keeping the EPS powered during towing.
Although the manufacturer claims that the problem was never an issue on the Grand Cherokee line (the WK2 models), there have been several owners who have indeed experienced it with the Grand Cherokees as well.
I have been towing a 2019 Grand Cherokee Overland for the past 18 months and have never experienced the wobble over many thousand miles of towing. This long forum post from September of 2019 explains what I have done to help prevent it.
