We certainly love our Journey but I've also admired the Revolution. At one time, the Revolutions were made on the same line as American Coach's which are considered high end DP's. Bottom line is the Revolution is a higher end rig than a Journey and will likely have more 'luxury' features.
Not sure about that year, but I believe I have seen some Revolutions with the rubber (TPO) roof vs. the fiberglass roof on the Journey. The Revolution will likely have a side radiator vs. the rear radiator of the Journey. That is important to some folks, especially if you plan to do some of your own service...engine access is generally better with a side radiator configuration.
That said, consider that Winnebago is still very much in business and will likely survive the economic downturn. They do have a great reputation for customer service and you can get volumes of technical data on any thing they make from them.
While we really wanted to move up to a Vectra/Horizon, we have decided to keep our Journey. It continues to provide plenty of comfort and enjoyment. It is certainly a very solid and popular rig.
For many folks, floorplan is the deciding factor. Suggest you take both of them for a serious test drive.
Good luck with your decision. Please let us know what you decide.
