04 Journey Captains chair install question

I have an 04 Journey and wanted to install a captains chair in the area where the love seat would go if I had one. I want to keep the small table, but have a secure, seating position. I have read where NeilV did this, and would like to do the same. Is it easy to put a pedestal in? What type and size do I use.
I am excited about doing this. I have been searching for a loveseat, and haven't been satisfied with any ones that I found. The Captains chair will provide a place for my little guy to be secured and allow him to see out the window.

Curb side. I have the fold down table, the the family wants, but I want to have a secure chair to buckle them in with. The chair that is there is a "euro chair" the moves around on the floor.

bolt through floor

Outburger ...

I have a 2004 39W Journey ... it came with a recliner that was bolted down so that it did not move.

There was a single bolt (about 3/8") that goes through the floor ... the bolt also goes through is a П__ shaped strap; together they hold the chair in place ... I do not have a seat belt in the chair.

The point of this description is that if you look at your front curbside storage bin I think you will find the top of it is "bare" ... if you do some careful measuring I am sure that you can find a place to position your new captians chair so that the bolts will go through the floor and not disturb anything.

You can see the thickness of the floor by removing one of the registers for the LP furnace ...

I hope this helps ...
