07 Vectra 1 piece windshield

Has anyone had any experience putting a 1 piece windshield (08-09) in a 07 (2 piece ) model? The chassis looks the same. I like the look of the 1 piece and wonder about how easy to pull the centre strip and put in a 1 pc.

As I understand it, the center strip is a support and can't easily be removed. If you did you would than have the problem of getting a windshield of the correct dimensions and curves. I don't think you want to go through the hassle.

Have you asked Winnie if they added any additional metal cage support for the single winshield models?
I agree with the better looks of the single windshield and if no other modifications are needed it could be an option when in need of a new windshield. I know 1/2 a windshield replacement cost is/was about $1300.

Thanks guys, I haven't followed through yet , I guess Wiiny would be my 2nd best bet but I'd think they'd warn against it. I hoped some one had taken this on once before. Like I said they look the same except the centre strip.
