1994 Brave - Dash Blower works on high for 5 min then stops

I have a 1994 Brave. WF-31RQ. When I turn the heat or AC on, the blower blows for about 5 minutes and then shuts off. If I turn the blower off and wait for a little bit (3-5 min), the blower works again. when this happens, I have no voltage at the blower.

It almost seems like a circuit breaker is tripping and then resetting. I can't identify where this would be. Could the relay be bad? Any ideas?

Please note: my blower motor is new -- I thought maybe there was some sort of thermal shutoff in it and I replaced it. My blower motor resistors seem are fine...and they only affect lower speeds -- I believe they're bypassed on high. I also had deteriorating vacuum lines from my vacuum reservoir (ball) to the vacuum source on the manifold that was causing most air to go to defrost (and a little to go to heat), but I got that fixed.

Thanks.

I bet you have a High speed Fan fuse/circuit breaker- they will reset after they cool down. It should be in your fuse block-may be inline. You can put a 30 amp fuse in its place -then try it.

Solved!???

I found the 30 A fuse/breaker. I'm not sure what it is. I ended up pulling it and testing the blower and it didn't work (as expected), then I put it back in and test it again -- working (as expected). I pulled it and put it back in (reseated it) two more times. That's all I did. It ended up not failing after 5 minutes as it has been doing in the past.

I'm wondering if maybe the connection was poor and perhaps the high current (when the blower was on high) was causing it to get hot and maybe shut down?

Anyway, it's working now and I know what to look for.

I still have to track down one of the vacuum motors (actuators) that is not letting the defrost vents close all the way. I have good flow on Vent, but when I put it on heat, it sends most of it through defrost and only a little through heat.

Found the last actuator

The red one that controls the defrost is in under my flip up console -- it controls the defrost actuator. The yellow one controls the actuator that switches between heat/AC. Both the red and yellow SEEM to work ok. The blue one (which is actually outside the coach and is accessible from t the front doesn't seem to have vacuum.

From this photo:

it looks like it only activates when it's on MAX/AC. I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Thanks for the response!
