2000 Minnie Winnie 6v conversion

I decided today to swap out my batteries for some 6v's. Installed and hooked everything up but my overhead lights and fridge read low DC. The inverter works fine and everything else hooked up directly to the terminals does too. Im thinking the rv grounds itself to the frame instead of to the battery so it is reading 8v when the system is actually 12+. The panel illuminates but battery reads "0-9".

Anyone have any knowledge or info on this? Where does it ground itself so i can rerun it? Im thinking its a common ground its using for all onboard stuff. May be worth it to scrap the 6v and go back to class 24's instead...

Thanks!

I have the same coach but a 99 not 00. I also converted to two 6v gc and was going to let you know all the grounds are near the battery bank under the step. Glad you figured it out...maybe lay off the bong rips until after working on the rig? Just saying...

Oddly thats how I figured it out. I was too sober in the beginning It was the lack of that caused the issues. Cheers!
