2001 Itasca sunrise 30w with triton v10

I am looking at buying a 2001 Itasca sunrise 30w with triton v10,

Does anyone know what workhorse chassis is under it...?

Also if any of you had or have this model let me know your thoughts, I'm in so cal and plan on using it to camp within 400 miles away if that helps

Thanks in advance

wingnuts-

If the coach has a Ford Triton V10 engine, then it's on a Ford F-53 chassis, not a Workhorse chassis.

Among other ways to find out, the center of the steering wheel will say "Ford" or "Workhorse."

wingnuts-

Winnebago has a Web page for product information here.

The brochure for the 2001 Itasca Sunrise is here.

That brochure says the 2001 Sunrise 30W is built on an 18,000-pound GVWR Workhorse chassis. The certification label on the coach should confirm (or not confirm) that. If you have the VIN you might be able to get the chassis rating from that, too.

Yup, brochure says Workhorse only, no Ford option. 2001 was a transition year for the engine, 7.4 was phased out, and 8.1 phased in. Could have either engine.

It'll be a "P32" chassis. You can google that for the good and the bad. Workhorse kept selling the P32 chassis pretty much unchanged from its Chevrolet roots until the 2005 model year. Very similar to your '93 chassis I'm sure.

Ok. Kinda where I'm at, it's an 01 with 50,000 inside super clean with 14ft slide out, outside is ok but stickers are starting to peel, I can get it for $11000.
