Rich
I've dealt with a lot of Hydraulic problems myself but not on RVs at this point, what I suggest is talk with Tech support at Winnebago they may have prints that will show if there is a fitting that sits above the fuel tank that may just need tightening however that's sound simple if its accessible and no special tool needed. Of course it could have a pin hole in the tubing which would mean a dealer repair job but before you spend a lot of time talk with Winnebago see if they can help.
Good Luck
Kindest Regards

I call a local mobile hydronic hose repair company. They will find the leak and make up the hose on site and top off the fluid.

If your 2001 is like my 2000 look under the bed. The cylinders are under a removable panel in the under bed storage area.
