My battery disconnect switch will sometimes self activate when I either turn the pedestal breaker off or just unplug the power cord.
I suspect there is a voltage transient being created by the converter that couples enough energy to the disconnect solenoid control wires to activate it. The control wires are in the wiring bundle with some large wires carrying some pretty high currents.
There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as to whether it occurs or not.
I bought a couple of .1 mfd capacitors I plan to put across the terminals and/or to ground to see if the transient can be absorbed, but haven't got aroundtuit yet.
