2005 Vectra No Propane

Hello,
I have a 05 Vectra FD. Over the winter we were connected to a 100 gallon tank . When I changed the hose to go back onto the onboard tank, I do not have any propane in the rig. I have checked the emergency shutoff and the switch inside the rig. The solenoid and it is warm and I can hear it click when turning off and on the emergency shutoff. I am including an image of my tank in case it helps. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is a shutoff valve near the fill port.

I looked and did not see a shut off valve, just an emergency shutoff switch.

That is closed. When I open it completely. I get an air-hissing noise (no propane).

Then you I have a leak. Is the hose connected to it tight and threaded properly ?

Leaking propane sounds like air leaking, at that connection it's in vapor form.

Twinboat. Is that valve supposed to be open? It doesn't leak when closed.

Well, the answer was that the valve (circled in the above image) was NOT open completely like I thought. A pair of pliers, just an extra boost, opened the valve to the correct position. Thank you everyone for your suggestions.

Kenclay,
We have a sistership to you. It's an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the CAT C-7 330HP. In the 11 years we've owned and operated this coach, I don't believe I've ever had a need to shut that valve off at the tank. If and when there's any need to cease the flow of propane, we just use the electric valve control inside the coach at the one place panel. By the way, you stated you heard air leaking when you opened that valve, correct? Did you get that straightend out?
Scott

Fire Up. Yes, once the valve was fully open , the air noise went away. The only reason that valve was turned off was that we were connected to an external propane tank for the winter.
